Lloyd Wayne Pippin, 82, of Littleton, CO died on April 6, 2022.
He was born to the late Lester and Edna Pippin on April 12, 1939, in Triplett, MO. Lloyd graduated from Littleton High School in 1957. He married Shirley Rae Hock on October 2, 1957. They resided in Littleton until relocating to Torrington, WY. They then moved to Douglas, Wyoming where he owned and operated the five and dime store Ben Franklin. In 1988 they moved back to Littleton, CO where much of his family lived. Lloyd became a house painter in Littleton where he painted houses until he retired at age 77.
Lloyd and Shirley enjoyed trips to Black Hawk and Colorado Lottery scratch tickets. He also enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren and looked forward to the many large gatherings of the Pippin family.
Lloyd is survived by his wife Shirley Pippin, two children: Rebecca Friedman of Florida, Chad Pippin of Broomfield, two grandchildren: Dillon and Sabrina Pippin of Aurora, and a large extended family.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like to request that donations be made to Nourish Meals on Wheels.
Services will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home, West Metro Chapel, on Wednesday April 20, 2022, at 2:00 pm.
Following the service, a reception will begin, at 4:30 pm at Lonetree Hub, 8827 Lone Tree Parkway, Lone Tree, CO 80124
