Heaven gained another Angel. Lodrita L. Gomogda, 94, of Denver, Colorado, passed away on Saturday, April 2, 2022.
Lodrita was born and raised in the Philippines, married Fred A. Gomogda, a U.S. Army soldier and came to United States in 1956. They settled in Denver, Colorado. After our father Fred and brother, Fred, Jr. both passed away in 1967, she became the Matriarch and raised 9 children with good morals and values to become successful adults. She is survived by her 9 children and spouses, 12 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
Lodrita lived a full and beautiful life with a contagious laugh. She loved to watch Shrek, Golden Girls, Family Feud, The Price Is Right and Back to the Future. She made us laugh with her funny outlook on life. On her 94th Birthday she spoke about how she loved her family. The Aging Process may have taken her health and cognition, but it did not take her Soul, her Integrity and Willingness to Survive. She fought till the very end. We miss her very much and our love will be with her always. She's our Hero.
