Lois Angell was born in Hinton, West Virginia, to Gobel and Marie Lilly on February 7, 1931. She passed away on November 5, 2024, at the age of 93 surrounded by her family. Her life’s journey took her from her roots in West Virginia to Colorado where she and her husband Grover raised a family of five children - Frank, Debbie, Tena, Scott, and Kevin - which has extended into five generations of 19 grand-children, 35 great-grand-children and 10 great-great grand-children.
After Grover passed in 2014, Lois lived with family and was surrounded by love every single day of her remaining years. We all know that what guided our mother through the years was her love of family and her unwavering faith through times of joy as well as times of strife. Although it is a profound loss that we feel, we are so blessed to have had her for the wonderful years we were given. She maintained a very full life right up to the end, and we are grateful that she passed peacefully surrounded by the love of her family.
In remembrance of Lois, there will be a memorial service at Grace Baptist Church in Parker, Colorado, on Friday November 15 at 3:00 pm. To send messages of condolences or leave a special message for family, please sign the guest book below.
