Lois Elaine Baggesse

November 20, 1936 — August 2, 2023

Lois Elaine Baggesse passed away the evening of August 2nd, 2023 at her home in Arvada, Colorado. She was born in 1936 during the depression in Shelby, Nebraska. She was 86. She married Joseph John Baggesse in 1958. Together they had two sons. Lois worked various secretarial and accounting jobs before her employment in the Environmental Protection Agency, and subsequent career in the United States Postal Service. She served as treasurer for several clubs and organizations. She is preceded in death by her parents William and Beulah, her ex-husband Joseph John, as well as her siblings Wayne, Dean, Gene, Richard, Don, and Doris. Lois is survived by her older son Carlo and his wife Carol, her younger son Joseph, grandchildren Hillary, Kelly, and Charles, as well as her great-grandchildren Silence, Carlie, Lili, Maddie, Penny, and Joe. Lois loved being a grandmother, and even more, a great-grandmother. She passionately studied tai chi, history, politics, and gardening. She will be missed by many.
