Lois Y. Williams

Lois Y. Williams, of Northglenn, died in her home on Saturday, April 14, 2007 at 4:18P.M., after a lengthly battle with cancer complications. Lois was born on August 21, 1936, in Magdalena, Socorro County, New Mexico to Willie Ray Cornelius and Rhoda Josephine McCarty, both who preceded her in death.

In her life, God came first, her children a close second. Motherhood was her proudest job and taking care of her home was her joy.

She is survived by her daughter: Donna (Williams) March, Northglenn, Colorado; two sons: David Williams, Phoenix, Arizona and Darryl Williams, Northglenn, Colorado; eight sisters: Julia Doles, Cedaredge, Colorado; Virginia Wright, Waxahachie, Texas; Marie Akers, Tyler, Texas; Gail Tate, Marysville, Washington; Willa DuBost, Kent, Washington; Dee Grayson, Brier, Washington; Rhonda Weems, Rotan, Texas and Debbie Cornelius, Texas; four grandsons: Christopher Williams, Phoenix, Arizona; Jesse Williams, Livermore, California; Leroy Williams, Livermore, California and Clayton March, Northglenn, Colorado; two granddaughters: Alicia Williams, Phoenix, Arizona and Amanda March, Northglenn, Colorado.

Lois was dearly loved in life and greatly missed in death. She is waiting for us in Glory!!!!

Visitation, Saturday 11:00A.M. until 1:00P.M., followed by Funeral Service, Saturday 1:00P.M., both at the Newcomer Family Funeral Home - West Metro Chapel, with Chaplain Keith Swingle, officiating. Interment, Crown Hill Cemetery, Wheat Ridge, Colorado. Pallbearers will be Jay Doles, Jerry Worrell, Jimmy Newell, Chris Ogilvie, Keith Grogg and Jesse Williams. Honorary Pallbearers will be Leroy Williams, Derric Grady and Pat Torrey.
