Loren James "Jim" Peacock, 61, of Denver. Passed away June 11, 2008.
Jim, a Colorado native, leaves us with many happy and funny memories, many having to do with his favorite foods. He loved cooking on the grill, particularly all cuts of meat--steaks, hamburgers, chicken, whole turkeys, and many vegetables with the exception of mushrooms! Jim added lots of zip to his food with pepper, garlic, chilies, and spices.
Jim loved playing pool and was quite adept at it. He belonged to pool leagues and played in many tournaments.
He worked for 32 years for the same welding shop.
In the last two years, Jim was on disability and learned to use the computer, kept in contact with friends and family with emails, and played computer games.
Jim and Marge were married for 33 years.
We love and bless you, Jim, and will miss you.
Jim is survived by his wife, Marguerite "Marge" Peacock; his mother, Mrs. Eleanor Peacock; two sisters, Jean (Jerry) Gallentine and Jackie (Bob) Korb. Jim is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Mr. Loren Gene Peacock
