Loren Walter Krienke, age 61, of Denver, Colorado passed away on Wednesday March 29, 2023 at The Denver Hospice in Colorado.
He was born May 5, 1961 in Olivia, MN, the Son of Lloyd and Gladys (Nicolai) Krienke. He was baptised at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Hector, MN. Confirmed in the Christian faith at Peace Lutheran Church in Cosmos, MN. Loren attended school in Hector, Cosmos and graduated from Hutchinson High School in 1980. Received a degree in Machine Tool Trades from HAVTI in 1982, Associate Degree in Engineering Drafting and Design Technology from NTI in Eden Prairie in 1991. He was an Application/Design Engineer working at Dalton Gear for 20+ years.
Loren was also an Army Veteran. He was greatly appreciative of The Healing Warriors program in Denver, CO that he participated in for many years.
Loren was preceded in death by his parents Lloyd, Gladys Krienke and brother Galen Krienke.
Survived by his children Mary Krienke and Michael Krienke; brothers: Bill Krienke, Ken Blake; sisters: Susan DeRocher, Joan Kirgiss and Marlys Hagstrom.
Loren loved his dog Lady. He loved going wine tasting, cooking/baking trying new recipes, to travel, soaking in hot springs, spending time in the mountains enjoying the wild flowers. He also loved the ocean listening to the waves watching the sunsets.
Loren loved to joke around! The twinkle in his eye and his grin will be greatly missed!
