Lorraine Louise Jurado was born in Allentown, Pennsylvania on February 11, 1927. She passed away in Westminster, Colorado on February 25, 2021 at the age of 94.
Lorraine is survived by her husband, Manuel Jurado. They married on November 19th, 1999 and created a beautiful life together. They lived their life committed to loving one another and making every moment count and the happiness they shared was evident to everyone around them.
As a self-taught organist, Lorraine enjoyed playing the organ with enthusiasm and passion. She loved playing Christmas songs and spiritual music and she loved playing them loud, often with neighbors commenting on how much they enjoyed it when she played.
The Church of the Nazarene became a second home to her later in life. She felt a deep love and connection with the people that worshiped with her and she had an amazing belief in the power of prayer.
There was not a stray cat in the neighborhood that Lorraine did not care for, evident with many waiting at their patio door for their next meal. She loved them all. Even the "little boy" who delivered kittens after she took "him" in.
Lorraine will be greatly missed by all her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. While her family is spread out from Colorado to Pennsylvania, all were loved deeply by her and thought of often. We will always keep her in our hearts.
