Louanna Blackburn, 78, died Monday, March 19, 2007.
Mrs. Blackburn was born December 10, 1928 in Denver and was the daughter of former long-time resident of Amarillo Mrs. Louise Beattie. She grew up in Amarillo and graduated from Amarillo High School and from Pomona College. She married Rev. Gerald Nobles Blackburn, also of Amarillo, on Feb. 14, 1951. Rev. Blackburn served as pastor of numerous Presbyterian churches throughout Texas.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1996.
Survivors include her son, Alan Blackburn and wife Meredith of Highlands Ranch, Colo., two grandsons, Ryan Blackburn and Ross Blackburn; and a brother-in-law, Henry Blackburn of Colorado City, Colo.
