Louis L. Kirkpatrick

Louis L. Kirkpatrick, of Littleton, Colorado was born on December 20, 1927 in Garfield County, Oklahoma to Archie and Elizabeth Kirkpatrick. He passed away Sunday, October 5, 2008 in Lakewood, colorado after a long illness.

He was raised near Enid, Oklahoma where he graduated from high school in 1946. He married Joyce in 1953. Louis served in the U. S. Army during the Korean Conflict. The couple moved to Colorado where Louis was employed by Chevron Oil and retired after 30 years of service. After retiring he was an active volunteer for the VNA and was selected "Senior Volunteer of the Year" in 2001. Louis was an Elder at both Christian Churches he attended in Rangely and Denver.

He is survived by his wife, Joyce, children, Norman and Steven Kirkpatrick and Joy (Ray) Duron, six grandchildren, sisters, Frances Truman, Mary Ann Bese, Sylvia Clark and Ida Leppke.

Memorial Services, Thursday 11:30AM at Newcomer - West Metro Chapel, with Chaplain William Campbell, officiating.
