Loyaa Madine Flansburg (Tilley), age 84, of Denver, died Tuesday, November 19, 2019.
Loyaa came from a very large family and grew up in Southeast Colorado before moving to the Denver Metro area to concentrate on her nursing career. She married the love of her life, Donald Flansburg, to whom she was married for over 40 years, where together they enjoyed golfing, bowling, and traveling to cemeteries to learn about genealogy and Colorado history.
Loyaa was a kind soul and had a passion for helping others -whether volunteering for local charities or serving on the board of directors for the Historic Grant Avenue Church, she was always willing to help those in need.
She is survived by 1 son, Mark Flansburg; 3 daughters, Jill Lepik, Teresa Fabrizio and Randy (Avon) Bergman; Sister-in-law Marge Tilley along with numerous nieces/nephews/grandchildren/great grandchildren and friends.
Graveside services will be held 11:00 am Tuesday November 26th at Fairmount Cemetery in Denver, Colorado where she will be buried next to her husband Donald Flansburg who proceeded her in death.
