Lt. Col.Richarde. Eaton

W.W.II veteran, Lt. Col. Richard E. Eaton, 88, passed away Thursday, January 17, 2008. He was a soldier to the end, fighting a hard battle to remain with his loving family to which he was deeply devoted. "Dick, Dad, Daddy, Grandpa and Friend" is survived by his devoted wife Elinor of 63 years; children Richard Jr., David, Nancy, and Barbara; grandchildren Benjamin, Sarah, Stephanie, Jonathan, Tracie and Brian; great-grandchildren Hannah and Liam; son's-in-law Steve and Gary; daughter's-in-law Dana and Patti; and spouses of grandchildren Chris and Lynette. He was a gentle man and a gentleman; a kind, loving and wonderful person who will be deeply missed in this world. Private services and inurnment will be held at Ft. Logan National Cemetery.
