Luella (Lou) Hall-Rohlf, age 74, passed away at her home in Denver, attended by her family on Monday, November 2, 2020. She was born on June 24 1945 in Nebraska and raised by Hershal Hall and Katherine Thomas-Hall.
Rohlf attended Stockton schools with primary interests in the concerns of the day. On November 22, 1966, she was married to Steven Carl Rohlf. In a blended family, they helped raise two sons and a daughter. Lou and Steve enjoyed traveling together as well as spending time with family and friends. Lou served as factory line supervisor for Samsonite Inc, and retired with distinction after providing professional training for the various roles on the line. She made lifelong relationships with co-workers and the families of her policeman husband's colleagues.
Lou loved to spend time with her young niece, Dakota, cooking, gaming, and traveling the nation visiting family and friends. Some of her favorite times out and about, were sojourns deep into the woods communing with nature and catching native trout for family fish fries.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 54 years, daughter, Dawn, sons, Ron, and Mark; five grandchildren; three great grandchildren; many siblings, nieces and nephews.
Due to the global pandemic, a private outdoor gathering of close family and friends was held on Saturday, November 7, 2020 at noon at the Rohlf residence.
