Lupe Mary Seim, 70, of Denver, passed away on September 22, 2019. She was born to Agustin and Cora Botello in Greeley, Colorado on September 30, 1948. She was married to Steven E. Seim on November 20, 1976.
Lupe worked in the state university system, first at Colorado State University (CSU) in Fort Collins, and later at the University of Colorado at Denver (UCD) where she remained until she retired. While at CSU, she worked for the director of student housing. At UCD, Lupe worked for the Dean of the College of Business, and later for the director of the National Veterans Training Institute.
Lupe is survived by her husband, Steven Seim; two daughters, Stephanie Wright and Stacie Seim; and grandson, Jarvis Choury, Jr. Lupe is also survived by her brothers and sister, Augie Botello, Art Botello, Andrew Botello, Armando Botello, and Andrea Espinoza. She is preceded in death by her sister, Yolanda Montoya.
Lupe had an extraordinary life. She could make friends with anyone, anywhere. She enjoyed crocheting, painting and trips to the mountains. Lupe will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
