Lydia was born April 30, 1935 in Tauroggen, Lithuania, the daughter of Johann and Emma Sandau. She passed away July 5, 2010 in Littleton, Colorado. She is survived by her son, John (Rubie) Pakalenka, and her 2 sisters, Lilli Sandau and Elma Preuss, and numerous extended family in Germany. She is preceded in death by her husband, David O. Petersen.
