Lyle "Dick", 85, died Wednesday, August 5, 2020. He was born in Denver, Colorado on August 9, 1934 to Lillian Smebye Parkins and Boyd Parkins.
After high school he joined the Navy and served as a petty officer.
He later met and married his wife of 57 years, Donna Herbel. They had three children. Cindy, Cheryl and Susan. He always said he had to get a dog to have a boy and when the puppy was delivered, it was a girl… He is also survived by five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
He worked as a controller in accounting most of his life.
He will be greatly missed by all his family and friends.
