Lynda Carol Mills, 69, passed on January 6, 2019. She was born to the late Clarence "Mac" and Martha Dolores "Dee" McFadden, on October 14, 1949, in Ottawa, Kansas. She married the late Byron Mills in 1989, and they lived in Denver, Colorado; Lazear, Colorado; and Lake Havasu City, Arizona, before Lynda relocated to Colorado.
Lynda joined the US Army in 1969 and served as a Communications Center Specialist and was honorably discharged in 1970.
Lynda had many passions in life. She was an avid GI Pinochle player and loved playing board and card games, horseback riding, cooking, socializing with friends and family, and taking the occasional trip to the casino.
Lynda is survived by her brother, Bruce McFadden, of Broomfield, Colorado. She is preceded in death by her parents Clarence "Mac" and Martha Dolores "Dee" McFadden,
A viewing will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m., Saturday, January 26, 2019. Services will follow the viewing at Newcomer Funeral Home from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., followed by burial at Golden Cemetery.
