Lynn Sattler

Lindsay (Lynn) Anne Sattler, of Aurora, passed away on February 7, 2024. She was born on August 25, 1946 in Peru, Indiana to Gerald Hagen and Patricia (Whipple) Hagen.

Lynn completed a Bachelor of Arts from Valparaiso University in Indiana, and obtained a nursing certificate from St. Francis in Fort Wayne, Indiana. She went on to serve as a Registered Nurse for 39 years. She worked for the University of Colorado Hospital, specializing in Gastroenterology for the last 19 of those years. From 1994-1995, Lynn was National President of the Society of Gastroenterology Nurses and Associates. In May of 2001, she received the national Gabriele Schindler Clinical Excellence Award.

Lynn is preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband of over 53 years, James M. Sattler; her daughter, Erin Exner (husband William Exner); and two grandsons, Keith and Austin.

Lynn's memory will be deeply cherished by those that knew and loved her.
