Lynn Wells, age 64, passed away unexpectedly at her home. Lynn was a devoted and doting mother and grandmother. She also loved spending time with her three fur babies. Lynn had a green thumb and was known for creating backyard paradises. Lynn touched many lives with her kind and caring demeanor during her long career at Kettering Medical Center. Lynn was a loyal friend of many and proud member of the LGBT community.
Lynn grew up in Massachusetts and was a star athlete at North Attleboro High School where she graduated in 1976. Lynn joined the Army and was stationed at Fitzsimons Army Medical Center in Colorado. After an honorable discharge Lynn moved to Ohio. In 2021 Lynn retired and moved to Colorado to be closer to her daughter and grandchildren.
Lynn is survived by her daughter and son in law, Sarah and Mark Kaye, her granddaughter, Elizabeth, her grandson, Chris, her father, Curtis Wells, siblings, Michaelene Laliberte, Jason Wells, and Cindy Brown, and her best friend, Heather Janney, who will miss her greatly. She leaves many nieces and nephews.
Preceded in passing are her mother, Linda Wells, and siblings, Daniel Wells, Curtis Wells Jr., and Julie Wells.
A celebration of Lynn's life will take place July 17 in Dayton, Ohio. Lynn's ashes will be spread at a later date.
Memorial donations in Lynn's honor may be made to American Heart Association or your local animal shelter.
