Manuel Isadore Perez Sr., 69, of Denver, passed away December 23, 2017.
He was born October 15, 1948 in Westminster, Colorado, the son of Alfredo and Angelina (Gomez) Perez.
He was a graduate of North High School in Denver. He received his Associates degree in Business from Regis College.
Manuel was a member of the Elks Lodge and the Fraternal Order of Eagles. He also was a member of the NHRA.
Manuel loved to play cards and to gamble. His passion was cars and automotive customization. He would build his own cars and Jeeps and would fabricate whatever he needed to make the vehicle. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle. Manuel loved to watch movies and binge watch for days at a time. When he was younger, he enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Manuel is survived by Four Sons, Michael A. Perez, Lord M.A. Perez, Christopher R. Perez and Manuel I. Perez, Jr.; Two Daughters, Patsy A. Perez and Gina L. Perez; Numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; Three Sisters, Yvonne Benavidez, Barbara Lopez and Lydia (David) Perez-Casias; Former Wife, Karen Kellerman; Numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and a host of friends including Don Maes and John Hernandez and his beloved dog, Oso.
He is preceded in death by Daughter, Denise M. Young; Father, Alfredo F. Perez and Mother, Angelina Gomez; Three Brothers, Alfred Orozco, Julio Orozco and Joe Gomez and a Sister, Stella Rojas.
