Marcella H. Rodriguez, 88, of Denver, passed away Wednesday October 28, 2020.
She was born to the late Saturnino Herrera and Amelia Padilla Mar. 8, 1932 in Arroyo. Hondo NM. She
was married to the late Gil Torres in 1947 until he passed in 1972. They had five children. Marcella was
fortunate to find love again with the late Fred Rodriguez, they married on Apr. 3, 1975 and they live
together in Denver until he passed on Jan. 10, 2010.
Marcella loved her family and cherished each time she could get them together. She would jump at any
chance to take care of one of her eight grandchildren or nineteen great grandchildren. She treasured
whenever her and Fred would take a road trip and loved they're date nights when they would go out for
dinner.
Marcella is survived by her sister Lilly Uyeda, her three children Florence Gonzalez, Diane Torres, and
Wilbert Torres. She preceded in death by her husband Fred Torres, her brother Luis Torres, her daughter
Marvella Heitbrink and her son William Torres.
