Margaret A. Russell, 94, of Denver, passed away December 16, 2021.
She was born April 28, 1927 in Fort Morgan, Colorado, the daughter of Archie and Annabell (Florey) Martin. She was a graduate of Fort Morgan High School. She received her Bachelor's Degree at Sterling College in Kansas. She then received her Master's Degree in Education from University of Northern Colorado in Greeley.
On June 20, 1964, she married David A. Russell.
Margaret was a Elementary School Teacher in Ft. Lupton for 30 years, retiring in 1992.
She was a member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority for over 50 years. Margaret was an avid reader who enjoyed sewing and crocheting. She possessed a beautiful soprano voice and loved to sing in choirs.
Margaret is survived by her husband of 57 years, David A. Russell; daughter, Annabelle (Russell) Kaufmann; grandchildren, David and Eric Kaufmann; several extended family members and a host of friends.
She is preceded in death by father, Archie N. Martin; mother, Annabell Martin; sister, Flora Jane Martin and brother, Archie N. Martin, Jr.
