Margaret (Margie) Cook, 80, passed away on July 16, 2024. Margie was born on January 19, 1944 in Denver, CO. She was an excellent student growing up with many awards. She could type 60 wpm, error free, on a typewriter in high school. Many of her abilities were self taught in order for her to reach the high level of office assistant positions she held, she often said the Denver Nuggets was her favorite. In Biblical School, she used a stenographer's pedal and typed the lessons from all four years. On October 2, 2014 she married George Cook.
Margie was predeceased by her older sister. She is survived by her husband, George Cook; step daughters, Angie (Larry) Thomas, Nicki (Mark) Lindner, Kristal (Cody) Stephenson and Lindsay (Tim) Trujillo; step sons, Todd (Courtney) Cook, and Jordan (Stefanie) Cook; grandmother of 14; great grandmother of 2; sister, Barbara (Bill) Hoover; number of nieces and nephews.
On August 9, 2024 there will be a Rosary at 10:30 am followed by a Memorial Mass at 11:00 am at Light of the World Catholic Church in Littleton, CO. A reception will be immediately after mass.
