Margaret Alyce Maxon
October 4, 1960 — May 28, 2019
Margaret passed away peacefully at age 58, following a long and heroic struggle with cancer.
She was a woman known and loved by many.
Born October 4, 1960 in Roseburg, Oregon to Leroy Alan Hayes and Betty Ann Sutterfield.
She last resided in Bailey, Colorado. There she especially enjoyed her love of birds and animals, including a number of hummingbirds who frequented the feeder on her deck.
An amazing cook, she often entertained others in her home.
She was survived by her sister Mickey Gee of Florida and Thereca Shaul of Brush Colorado, Derrick Yearout of Denver and her dear friend and caregiver John, in addition to many other relatives and friends.
She was most generous in sharing her love and kindness to those around her.
She will be dearly missed.
A memorial service will be held September 8, at 2pm. at the Ivy League Cabin 320 Overlook Drive Bailey, Colorado.
