Enigma-Margie C. Montoya Floris, 91, of Enigma, died Sunday, February 14, 2010 at her residence.
Rosary will be held Tuesday, February 16, 2010 at 6:30 P.M. in the Chapel of Albritton-BeaumontFuneral Directors. The family will receive friends from 7-9 P.M. following the rosary. Graveside services will be held in Denver, CO at Ft. Logan National Cemetery Friday, February 19, 2010 at 10:15 A.M. Staging Area "C".
Mrs. Floris was born June 9, 1918 in Trinidad, CO to Victor Montoya and Porfillia Ramerez Montoya both are deceased. She is preceded in death by her husband, Marcus "Chief" Floris and two sisters, Carmen and Josie.
Mrs. Floris was of the Catholic Faith and a homemaker. She enjoyed shopping, traveling, and sewing. She loved her independence and animals (especially cats) and collected elephant figurines.
Mrs. Floris is survived by her daughter, Jackie L. Laska of Enigma, four grandchildren; Steven Laska (Kayo), Dawn Guy (Wayne), Jennifer Laska (Asheley), Kendra Purdham (Marcus) and seven great-grandchildren.
