GOD saw the road was getting rough, and the hills were hard to climb. He gently closed her loving eyes and whispered, "Peace be thine." Her weary hours, her days of pain, her weary nights have passed. Her ever-patient worn-out frame has found sweet rest at last.
GOD in HIS infinite wisdom and divine love, called from our midst our loved one, Margie L. Hall, to her eternal rest on Saturday, December 2, 2023 at Denver Health Hospital.
Aunt Dove, Aunt Marge, Aunt Margie, Grandma, and Marge as she was affectionally called, was born to the late Sandy & Sarah McNair in Harnett County North Carolina. Marge was raised and educated in Harnett County. She was a member of Creeksville AME Zion Church in Spring Lake, North Carolina before marrying her beloved Calvin E. Hall and relocating to Denver Colorado.
Margie loved to sew, plant flowers, and vegetable gardens until her health failed. She also loved shopping and had an eye for fashion so much so that Margie even pursued modeling. Margie had a passion for cooking and would spend countless hours preparing meals to feed her neighbors, family, and friends. Margie was loved by many and when asked how she was doing, she would always reply "I'm Blessed, GOD has been good to me."
In addition to her parents, Margie was preceded in death by her husband, Calvin, son Ernest (Geneboy), granddaughter, De'Bora, great-grandson, Marcell, great-granddaughter De'Bora, eight siblings; seven sisters: Mildred, Dannie, Eva, Mamie, Julia, Hattie, Lillie, & one brother Sandy Jr. She leaves to cherish her memory; son Stevie, grandchildren Marquya (Jamel), Ernie (Kristie), Donna (Charles), Rashon, great-grandsons Jamarie, Khailil, Malik, great-granddaughter Imani, daughter-in-law Marie, sisters-in-law, Rose, Marge, Bernita, brother-in-law Tommy, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends & her very special friend Theresa Russaw.
GOD saw you getting tired, and HE knew you were growing weak; so, HE put HIS arms around you, and whispered "Come to ME." It broke our hearts to lose you, but you did not go alone. A part of us went with you, the day GOD called you home.
