Maria Pereida

Thornton, Colorado – Maria Dolores Pereida died Friday, July 17th in Thornton. She was 84 years old.
She was a long time Eagle County resident. Maria Dolores lived the majority of her life in the Eagle County area. She moved to Thornton a few years ago.
She is survived by her sons Gabriel Pereida (Diana), Benjamin Pereida (Cuka), Jimmy Pereida (Dolores), her daughters Margarita Pereida, Consuelo Valdez (John), Nicky Macias, Olivia Arias (Jose), Rosa Garcia (Rafael) and Juanita Alvarez (Frank). She had many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Benjamin and her daughters Ofelia Martinez and Beatrice Mejia.
A rosary service will be held at 7 p.m., Thursday at Newcomer Family Funeral Home – East Chapel located at 190 Potomac Street in Aurora. Memorial service will be held at Newcomer on Friday at 11 a.m. Burial we take place immediately following the memorial service at Highland Mortuary and Cemetery located at 10201 Grant Street in Thornton.
