Maria "Sue" Rosengarten

Maria Suzette "Sue" Rosengarten, 71, of Denver, CO died peacefully in her sleep on December 31, 2018. Born March 24, 1947, in South Bend, IN she is predeceased by her parents, Herman and Stefanie De Vliegher of Englewood, CO and her late husband of 18 years, Roger Rosengarten.

Maria was a homemaker living in various Denver metro areas with her husband, Roger, until his untimely death in 1985. She earned her medical assistant degree in 1985 and worked for 28 years with Kaiser Permanente retiring in 2013. She was a devoted Mother who faced the enormous challenge head on raising and providing for three boys after their Father's death. She was known for her quintessential love for her children and grandchildren.

Survivors include her three sons; Ray Rosengarten of Highlands Ranch, CO, Craig Rosengarten of Aldie, VA, and Jim Rosengarten of Readlyn, IA and siblings; Herm De Vliegher, Stefanie De Vliegher-Munson, and Gerard De Vliegher and granddaughters; Brittany, Kaleigh, Mariah and Kalvyn; and grandsons; Kiks and Roger.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to the diaTribe Foundation

A viewing will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home from 4 pm to 7 pm with Rosary at 7 pm on January 10, 2019. Services will be held at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church at 10:30 am followed by burial at Ft Logan Cemetery on January 11, 2019.
