Marian L.(Aikens) Giles

Born Waterloo, NY, July 4, 1923; died Aurora, CO, August 26, 2007. Preceded in death by husband, Donald, and beloved son, Dean. Survived by daughters: Sherry Giles; Wendy Giles; Nancy Rinker (Mark); Tracy McClurg (Kevin); Kelly Heuchemer (Dane); sister: Dorothy (Dot) DeLand; and grandson Patrick McClurg. Marian fulfilled her dream of becoming a nurse, serving in the Army Nurse Corps in WWII. Stationed in TX, she met her husband; they traveled extensively while he was in the Air Force, settling in Aurora in 1961. A devoted mother of 6, she lovingly cared for her disabled son throughout his life. Marian was a sunny, caring, and tender-hearted spirit.
