89, of Denver, Colorado, passed away October 6, 2006. She married Franklin "Lee" Bateman in 1939, who preceded her in death in 1998. She is survived by 3 children: Mozelle Clark, Rita Golden, and Steven Bateman, 4 granddaughters, 9 great grandchildren, 4 sisters and 2 brothers. Viewing will be 2-7 pm on Wednesday October 11th at Newcomer Family West Chapel. Services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday at Riverside Baptist Church-Chapel. Private graveside services at Ft. Logan National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Colorado Cancer Research Program, 2253 S. Oneida St, STE 3B, Denver, CO 80224 or Hope for Today c/o Riverside Baptist Church, 2401 Alcott, Denver, CO 80211
