Marilyn Carol Giles

Born Marilyn Carol Norman on Oct. 13, 1940 in Mexico, MO the first child to Clarence & Maxine Norman on July 3, 1961 she married Howard Douglas Giles in Truth or Consequence, NM.

They lived and pastored churches in New Mexico and southern Colorado. In 1972, they moved to the Denver area when they resided until their death.
They raised 5 wonderful children while continuing their ministry in the Denver area.Marilyn loved making dolls and belonged to many doll clubs, she was a chapter president with the AARP,she ran the Living Faith Bookstore in Thornton, and enjoyed working with people.

She had a servant's heart and even after she lost her sight, she was the Chaplin at the San Marino Retirement Community.
Marilyn had a very deep faith in our Lord Jesus Christ and along with her husband and friend, Doug, she made a difference in many lives by sharing "The Good News"

She took her new assignment on Dec. 13 2008, where she and Douglas are currently "Walking all over Heaven." She will be missed.

She is survived by 4 sons, Howard (Sally) Giles, Wendell (Linda) Giles, Isaac Hoyt (Julie) Giles, Marlin Dusty (Theresa) Giles, 1 daughter, Najona "Joni"(Wayne) Kuether, 13 grandchildren, Kimberly (Jerome) Adam, Matthew (Jessica) Giles, Melissa Giles, Johnny Giles, Heather Giles, Jessica Giles, Joshua Giles, Cody Giles, Johnathon Giles, Isabel Giles, Emme Kuether, 2 great granddaughters, Elizabeth Grace Giles, Annalyssa Rene' Giles, sister, Anna (Virgil) Barton, 2 brothers, James (Phyliss) Norman and John (Donna) Norman. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband,Howard in 1999, and 1 brother, David Norman. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to His Sanctuary Church, 9484 Longs Peak Drive, Henderson, CO 80640.
