Marjory A. Cooke

My wonderful mother, Marjory A. Cooke passed away on July 19th, 2022, at the age of 90 in her home, Morning Star of Arvada.

Raised in Denver, CO, Marjory was born the 12th child, two sisters and nine brothers. She moved to Arvada in the mid 60's to raise her family in the home that her husband Bill designed and built. She lived there for over 50yrs until she had to move into senior care living several years ago.

Marjory was a Vice President of security in the banking industry for many years. She had many friends and was very well liked, respected, honored throughout the years in her community, her career and final years at Morning Star. She was a very caring and loving person who donated and supported causes that were close to her heart. She had a zest for life, passion for animals, enjoyed traveling, singing, giving and receiving hugs, but most importantly she was a loving wife and mother of two.

Marjory was predeceased by her husband Bill who she spent 50 yrs. of marriage to the love of her life, her best friend. Miraculously he passed on the same day, July 19th, 21 yrs. earlier.

She is survived by her children, Bill and Melissa Cooke and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
