Mark Laurence Brown

Mark Laurence Brown of Denver, Colorado, passed away on December 13, 2024, at the age of 71 years. Born on April 22, 1953, in Bay Village, Ohio, Mark eventually made Denver his home, a city he loved for its vibrant culture and welcoming community.

Mark proudly served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War, truly embodying the courage and dedication of a patriot. Though he spoke little of his service, it was the strength and resilience he carried with him that stood in testimony to his time in uniform.

Mark lived life to the fullest in Denver: fishing in mountain streams, exploring the Denver Zoo and Botanical Gardens, and hanging out in many establishments along Broadway. Whether he was having a quiet day outdoors or embracing the buzz of the city, Mark found happiness in moments that brought him closer to the people and places that meant so much to him.

Mark's greatest pride was his adopted daughter, Caitlyn Claire Harred. Their bond was built on love, trust, and shared experiences, and Caitlyn will carry forward his legacy of strength, humor, and compassion.
