Mark Eugene Carlson
July 22, 1960 – November 27, 2019
59, of Denver, Colorado passed into Eternal Life on November 27.
Mark was a good and kind person who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Mark was born on July 22, 1960 to the late Stanley E. Webb and Juanita Webb in Greeley, Colorado.
Mark attended John F. Kennedy High School and graduated from Denver Automotive and Diesel College.
Mark was adventurous and loved the outdoors: snow skiing (came home with broken leg from ski trip to Crested Butte with his good friend, Paul Gruner when he was a teenager); water skiing at Lake McConaughy; snow tubing in the foothills with his brother and cousins; and deer hunting with his elders when he was a teenager (only one in the group got a deer, a 4-point buck, but Mark would not eat the meat after shooting it. Much empathy for the deer).
Mark was a Denver Bronco fan, but when the team lost, they would be called the Donkeys! Quite a sense of humor.
Sweet treats were a favorite for Mark. He loved baking cookies: peanut butter, chocolate chip and especially M&M cookies.
Playing Bingo and slot machines and watching Western movies were also favorite pastimes of Mark.
Mark is survived by his mother Juanita; Stepfather Don; son Jason; daughter Jacki; three granddaughters; nephew Russell; several cousins; extended family Al and Cindy, Bryan and Mickey.
He was preceded in death by his father, Stanley E Webb; brother Russell; and both paternal and maternal grandparents.
A Life Celebration will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, December 7, 2019 at Newcomer – West Metro Chapel in Lakewood, Colorado.
Interment: Tower of Memories, Crown Hill Cemetery with his brother, Russell at a later date.
