Mark was born on November 16, 1967, in Brighton, Colorado to parents James Lee Gaschler (deceased) and Patricia Ann Skahill. He passed away on March 9th, 2022 after a long illness. Mark was baptized and confirmed at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Brighton, Colorado.
Mark was an accomplished artist and many of his works decorate his home He loved aquariums and taking care of his fish. He worked as a fish tank fabricator at a saltwater retail outlet.
Mark loved music, especially jazz. He also loved sports, especially baseball and tennis. He was awarded a scholarship for baseball. Mark also enjoyed watching sports, and rarely missed a Bronco football game.
Mark was interested in American history and was widely read on the subject; He also was quite good at trivia and watching Jeopardy with him was inspirational as he frequently knew the answer.
Mark is survived by his mother, Pat Skahill of Littleton, Colorado, a son, Nicholas Patrick Gaschler, and aunts, an uncle, and cousins.
