Born January 12, 1939, in Denver, Co, Marlis Rebecca Cooper Williams was the second of five siblings
born to Marie Louise Maxey and Stanford E. Cooper, Sr.
After attending Manuel High School, Marlis became a housekeeper for the Grynberg family. She was
loved by the Grynberg's as if she was a member of the family until the day of her passing. Marlis lived in the suburb of Park Hill on Grape Street. She was one of the founding members of the Grape Street. Residents where many of the children would come and play and refer to her as "Aunt Marlis". She
assisted in raising her nieces, nephews and cousins. 3051 Grape Street will never be forgotten.
Marlis was happily married to Lloyd Williams. Unfortunately, they weren't blessed with any children from this union.
Marlis loved listening to Barbara Streisand, Johnny Mathis, B.B. King, and Fats Domino. Marlis was a
die-hard Denver Broncos fan especially of the former barefoot kicker, Rich Karlis, for obvious reasons.
Whenever she was trying to be discreet about someone or something she would go "mm hmm".

Marilyn.
