Marlys J. Pratt

Marlys Jane Pratt of Littleton, Colorado passed away Monday, April 22, 2019. She was 85 years old. Marlys is survived by her daughters Linda Pratt and Lora (Pratt) Johnson and her grandchildren Mariah and Nathaniel Johnson.

Born in Flagler, Colorado on January 11, 1934, to John and Irene Ostrowski, Marlys was the youngest of three children. She was a graduate of Colorado Springs High School, and following high school, she attended Blair Business College. Marlys married Bill Pratt in 1959, and she had two children, Linda and Lora.

Since Bill's death in 2012, Marlys was blessed to be surrounded by a community of friends and neighbors who consistently looked after her and helped her daily; their caring and attention greatly enriched her life. Known for her sense of humor and her tendency to say whatever popped into her mind, Marlys was well-loved by her family and her friends. She will be remembered fondly and missed deeply.

Services will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home, 901 So. Sheridan at 11:30AM on Thursday, May 9th.
