Martin Edward Remington Jr.

Martin "Mart/Marty" E. Remington Jr., 88, of Castle Rock, was welcomed into God's loving care on July 25, 2018.
He was born May 15, 1930 in Colorado Springs, Colorado, the son of Martin "Ted" and Mary "Tillie" (Cross) Remington. He was a graduate of Penrose High School. He attended Northwestern University. On August 4, 1953 he married Betty Serfoss, of Penrose, Colorado. Mart retired after 37 years of serving the citizens of Colorado as a Lieutenant in the Colorado State Patrol.
Left to cherish Mart's memory are his wife, Betty Remington; three daughters, Marta (Keith) Zulauf, Karen (Gregg) Taylor, and Anita Remington-Allen; five grandchildren, Amanda (Mark) Voss, Holly (David) Taylor-Klucznik, Zach (Maggie) Taylor, Alyssa (Jake) Cockrum, and Alayna (Nick) Allen-Martinez; and two great-grandchildren, Harper Voss and Payton Cockrum. He is preceded in death by his parents, Martin "Ted" Sr. and Mary Matilda "Tillie" Remington; brothers, Stanley "Buck" Remington and William "Bill" Remington; and son-in-law, Marshall Allen.
Mart will forever more remain in the loving presence of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
A celebration of Mart's life will be held on Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at 10:30am at First Denver Friends Church, 4575 Eliot Street, Suite A, Denver, CO 80211.
