Marty Lee Reynolds

Marty Lee Reynolds, 62, of Littleton, Colorado, passed away June 2nd, 2019.

Marty is survived by his wife, Coleen Reynolds; son, Dustin (Shelly) Reynolds; daughter, Sarah (Charlie) Russell; and five grandchildren, Alivia, Maddex, Luke, Elsa, and Adalynne; along with brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Marty was born September 1st, 1956 in Denver, Colorado to John and Shirley Reynolds. He proudly served in the Marine Corps from 1975 to 1980, earning the rank of Sergeant. His primary Military occupation in a Marine Wing Support Group began at Camp Pendleton and led him to Japan. While in Japan, he was stationed at Iwakuni, as well as Camp Hansen, Okinawa where he trained at the Special Defense School for Chemical and Biological Warfare Defense. During his time of service, he received numerous awards and commendations reflecting his dedication and performance throughout his assignments.

In 1988, he started his own concrete business, overseeing company operations and becoming well-respected in the residential construction throughout much of Denver. In his near forty years of concrete experience, his dedication, hard work, and commitment to his company and employees established a lasting bond and solidified his and his company's reputation as being the best.

In 2016 upon retirement, he subsequently passed ownership on to his long-time apprentice since 1999, Daniel Lopez, who he valued as a son and close friend. Given the nature of his personality and desire to work, he ended up accepting a post-retirement position with NAPA as a Delivery Driver.

When Marty wasn't working, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, cooking, and spending time with family, especially grandkids. In 2001, he traveled to Alaska for an exclusive hunting and fishing trip along the rivers of Alaska. Marty absolutely enjoyed cooking with his Traeger smoker and trying many recipes from his Cowboy Cookbook. He made the best German Potato Salad known to family and friends. The one family member he grew to love the most, was his dog Starr. Starr was his hunting buddy and went everywhere together, including many drive-thru trips for hamburgers.

Out of his own compassion, love, caring nature, and free will, he always lent a helping hand to those in need without expecting anything in return. We are thankful for the many, loving memories and positive influence he has had on each and every one of our lives. Marty will truly be missed by all and never forgotten in spirit.
