Marvin G. Hart
85, of Denver, CO, passed away March 9, 2009 at the age of 85. He was born May 6, 1923 in Essex, Iowa, the son of Alvin & Anna Hart. He married Aletha Harms on August 30, 1942 in Buffalo, NY. He entered into the US Army during WWII and served in the European Theater in the 45th Infantry. He was honorably discharged in 1944 and received the Purple Heart and Bronze Star. After returning from service he worked as a farmer until moving to Colorado in 1955. He worked for Gates Rubber Company until his retirement in 1983. He was very involved in the Boy Scouts of America and Resurrection Lutheran Church.
He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Aletha, 3 children, Rita Reish of Longmont, CO, Judy (James) Robinson, of Highlands Ranch, CO, Dennis (Mary) Hart, of Berkeley Springs, WV. Five grandchildren, Shawn (Brenda) Reish, Denise (Kevin) Carter, Jed (Megan) Robinson, Michael Hart, & Stephen (Carrie) Hart. One great granddaughter, Lorelie Hart. Two brothers, Allen (Louise) & Curtis (Kitty) Hart; one sister, Myrt Cerven; sister-in-law, Kathryn Hart; 5 step grandchildren; 17 step great grandchildren; 3 step great great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, two brother, Milton & Kenneth Hart, son-in-law, Bill Reish, brother-in-law, Don Cerven, sister-in-law, Pat Hart.
