Marvin Lee House

Marvin Lee House, 67, passed away January 17, 2010, at the Littleton Adventist Hospital from heart complications.

Marvin was born August 3, 1942 in Alamogordo, New Mexico. He was the son of Theda Ellison Cody and Paul Arnold House. He married the love of his life and dance partner, Mildred Lee Allen, in March of 1963. The couple was blessed with two children, two grandchildren, and a daughter-in-law he loved like a daughter. Marvin held several offices with the Jr. Chamber of Commerce (Jaycees) and received awards and acknowledgements for his civil service.

More than anything, Marvin loved his family and was incredibly proud of them. He enjoyed helping others, tinkering in the garage, and picking at his guitar. You would often find him listening to old country music, and watching black and white western movies on his big screen. He was a caring husband, father, brother, and grandfather. His sense of humor will be sadly missed.

Marv is survived by his wife Mildred House, daughter Susan House, son Mark House, granddaughter Kaitlyn House, grandson Joshua House, mother Theda Cody, brother Harold House, sister Cleta Seiwald, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Paul Arnold House.

A graveside funeral service will be held Saturday, January 23, 2010, 11:00 AM, at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Castle Rock, Colorado, Reverend Paul Mauritz officiating.
