Mary Amolsch, 68, of Lakewood died on May 5th, 2021 after several months of serious illness. Mary was born to William and Alice Parker in Albany, NY on December 20th, 1952 and grew up in Warwick, NY.
Mary attended Warwick Valley High School, graduating in 1971. She earned an associate's degree from Harriman State College in 1973. She was a medical transcriptionist for various physicians and the Jupiter Medical Center her entire career. She retired in 2014. Mary and her parents moved to Florida in the late 1970's living first in Jupiter and then in Hobe Sound subsequent to her father's death in 1981. She married Ray Amolsch in 2004 and they lived in Florida until they relocated to Colorado in 2012.
Mary is survived by her husband, three step-children, Jennifer Rae, Kevin David and John Christopher and three step-granddaughters, Jade, Madeline and Alexis. She was preceded in death by a brother, Howard, and her parents, Bill and Alice Parker. She has numerous half-siblings as well as nephews and nieces.
In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations to the Spina Bifida Association or the American Cancer Society.
Due to Covid restrictions that limit the number of attendees at a service, a viewing is set for Friday, May 21st from 1 to 5 with a reception to follow at Kevin's house, beginning at 4 pm. A family member will be available at the viewing from 1 to 4.
