She was preceded in death by her husband, Francisco M. Alvarez, sons Francisco Alvarez, Jr. and Victor Alvarez (Chief), sister Esther Torres, brother Richard A. Santisteven. Loving mother of Joe (& Cindy) Santistevan, Mary (& Rich) Correa, Betty delaTorre, Robert (& Denise) Alvarez, Irene (& Steve) Jaramillo, Tony Alvarez, Maria Mares, Rose (& Jose) Madrid, Leroy (& Tina) Alvarez; sister of Joyce Santistevan, Katherine Santistevan, Tony (& Ruth) Santistevan, Larry Santistevan, & Mary Martinez; 24 grandchildren; 33 greatgrandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; many nieces, nephews, cousins; and devoted friends.
Visitation to be held at Newcomer Funeral Home - West Metro Chapel, 901 South Sheridan Boulevard, Lakewood, CO 80226 at the south west corner of Kentucky Avenue and Sheridan Boulevard on Tuesday, August 12, 2008 from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.
Rosary and Mass of Christian Burial to be held at Saint Cajetan Catholic Church, 299 South Raleigh Street at the north west corner of Raleigh Street and Alameda Avenue on Wednesday, August 13, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. Interment to follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, 12801 West 44th Avenue, Wheat Ridge, CO.
