Mary Ann Claussen

Claussen, 58, entered eternal life on Wed. Dec.17, 2008. She will be missed dearly by her family and friends. She is survived by her husband of nearly 30 years, Alfonso Valdez. Stepmother to Alan (Rosann), Claudette and Teresa. Loving grandmother to Dario, Alexis, Brandon, Shane, Antoinette, Jerek, Alina, James and Nicole. Sister to Dolores, Hans, Jessie, and John. Along with several nieces, nephews and other extended family.


Mary will be remembered for her immeasurable kindness, boundless generosity, and unparalleled good-nature. She was a true angel at heart.


Memorial Service will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home – West Metro Chapel on Jan. 2, 2009 at 10:00am, followed by a burial service at Crown Hill Cemetery, 7777 W. 29th Ave., Wheat Ridge, CO 80033.
