Mary Cooper

Mary Cooper, beloved mother, grand- mother and friend, passed away September 24, 2004 in the caring hands of the Hospice of Metro Denver staff. Mary was born November 10, 1918 in Seattle, WA. She was preceded in death by her husband, Commander Henry Gibbons Cooper, USN (Ret.), her young daughter Mary Caroline Cooper and her brother Howard Leonard Kleinoeder of Seattle, WA. Mary is survived by her son H. Howard (Anya) Cooper of Steamboat Springs and her daughter Darcy (Dave)Schlicting of Denver and her grandchildren Julia, Kate, and Paula Cooper and Zachary, Gretchen, Courtney, and Ben Schlichting. Mary was loved by many and will be greatly missed. A memorial service will be held Thursday, September 30, at St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, 1 Del Mar Circle, Aurora, CO at 3 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contri- butions may be made to the Nature Conservancy of Colorado, 2424 Spruce, Boulder, CO 80302, or the Hospice of Metro Denver, 425 S. Cherry St., #700, Denver, CO 80246.
