Mary Ellen Lane

Our mother Mary Ellen Lane was born May 30, 1921, in Miller, South Dakota. At the age of five years old, the family moved to the Harper/Vale Oregon area where she lived until her marriage in 1939 to our dad, Homer Hugh Lane. Married for 52 years, Mom and Dad lived in Boise, Idaho; Missoula, Montana; Salt Lake City, Utah; Ogden, Utah; and since 1952 in Aurora, Colorado.
A stay-at-home Mom most of her adult life, she took a 14-year break in the late '50s through the late '60s to become assistant manager of the Space Age Federal Credit Union housed in those days at the Air Force Accounting and Finance Center in Denver.
She is preceded in death by parents Cora and Art; brothers Herb, Howard and Dick; sister and brother-in-law Alice and Orville Kime; husband Homer; daughter and son-in-law Mary Alice and Tony King; and grandson Michael Lester.
She is survived by daughter Judy Lane; daughter and son-in-law Vicky and Jerry Lester; grandchildren Jennifer Patterson (husband Marcel); Stephanie Burtch (husband Camron); Shelly Ryan (husband Mark); Melissa King; Mary King; Anthony King; Gloria King; and Lana King; great-grand-children Alicia and Marcel Patterson; Kaleb, Trevor and Brady Burtch; Laney and Kacey Ryan; Cy and Carlie Cheetham; Alanah King; Brandon Keller; and great-great-grandson Ayden Milton.
We are all blessed to have had her with us for as long as we did.
