Mary Jane Bieshaar

Mary Jane Bieshaar, maiden name: Dunn. Born on August 4, 1929 at home in Flowler, Kansas to her loving parents, Ruth and Ed G. Dunn. She attended Center Star School in Finny County, Kalvesta, Kansas and graduated from high school at Haviland Academy in Haviland, Kansas in 1947.

She graduated in 1951 from Friends University in Wichita, Kansas. Her first job was teaching in elementary school at Sublette, Kansas. In 1956 she moved to Denver, Colorado for a teaching position in the Clear Lake District. She taught Junior High English until she retired in 1984. She sold real estate in the Denver area for many years. Mary Jane loved to learn new skills and took many classes some of which were to know how to change a lock, overhaul a bathroom, rewire a room, or weld. If the family didn't know how to do something, they could just ask Janie.

Mary Jane married Carl Bieshaar in August, 1963 at the First Denver Friends Church where they remained active in many of the ministries of the church. They were also active with Quaker Ridge Camp near Woodland Park, Colorado and Barclay College in Haviland, Kansas. Mary Jane and Carl loved to travel and every trip was an adventure she would share with the family.

Mary Jane is survived by her husband Carl, a brother Clinton (Merleta) Dunn and family, Chad and Kristin Dunn and Krista and Dave Wyatt of Denver; brother Duane (Omo Jean) Dunn of Calhan, CO and family; Lura Dunn and children of Kansas; and a host of friends.
