Mary "Joan" Smith
Mary "Joan" Smith, 73, passed away December 29, 2004. Devoted and loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister. Born in Seneca Fallys, NY on May 7, 1931 to Edward and Vera Timmons. Survived by children, Vanessa "Jane" Thomas, Donna (Randy) Amen, Jim (Renee) Smith, Rich (Sharma) Smith ; granchildren, Shawn, Christina, Trista, Levi and Keith; and great grandchild, Adrick. She will be greatly missed by her family and those who had the good fortune to know her. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Rocky Mnt. Cancer Center. Visitation Sunday, January 2, from 3:00 to 5:00 P.M.; funeral service Monday, January 3, 11:00 A.M., both at Newcomer Family Funeral Home, East Metro Chapel, 190 N. Potomac St., Aurora.
