In Loving Memory of

MARY JULIA JOHNSON

1946-2022

On Sunday September 18th Mary Johnson, amazing wife, mom, sister, and grandma died at the age of 75. Mary was born in New Mexico and lived most of her life in Denver, Colorado. She loved with all her heart and always found the good in everyone. She loved her family with every ounce of energy she had. She loved to cook for everyone and made the best enchiladas. All she ever wanted was for her family to experience peace and love.

Mary battled lung cancer but you would have never known by taking to her. She woke up grateful everyday for the new day God had given her. She never complained about being sick. If she was having a bad day and you asked her how she was, she would answer "so-so." That was the length of her complaint. She handled her illness with grace and dignity.

I believe Mary left behind gifts for her family hoping they would accept. She demonstrated strength and courage and would want her family to take these gifts and use them in good times and bad. She left behind a big heart; a heart without judgment and hate. She left her family the example of true unconditional love. She treated everyone with respect and would want her family to do the same. Mary's gifts should be treasured as a true testament to her legacy.

Mary is survived by her husband William Johnson, daughter Lynette Sanchez , son Brian Archuleta, daughter Kathy Johnson, brother Archie Cardenas and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Anyone reading this please embrace a moment of peace for this amazing woman. A private family gathering will be held at a future date yet to be determined.
