Mary Lou, age 84 passed away March 1, 2024. She was the wife of Adam (Eppie) for 64 years.
She was born in Denver Co. She was the daughter of Andrew and Louise Folks Contreraz. She is survived by her children Ernie, Arlene, Sam, Debbie and Robert. She is in heaven with her husband and beloved daughter Loretta who left us at a very young age. Also survived by Emmanuel, Perry, Andre and Paula, whom she loved as her own. Mary was also very special to her, she recently left us to join her loved ones in heaven. Also survived by 4 sisters and 1 brother, Irene, Angie, Roberta, Anita and Danny. She loved her grandchildren, Richard, Aimee, Emmanuel (Nano), Eric, Destinee, Stephanie, and Anthem. She also loved her 12 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild Aziah. He was her pride and joy. He always put a smile on her face. She loved all her nieces and nephews.
She was a homemaker and the best at that. Never gave her kids chores and wanted us to just be kids. She always had dinner done by 4:00 just in time for when Dad got home. She was a great cook and passed it down to us. She loved her yard and loved planting her flowers. One of her favorite things to do was go to Macy's. My dad named the second-hand store Macy's. It was one of our favorite places to go with her. She loved Mexican music; she and my dad were great dancers. She also loved her scratch tickets, but she would rather go to Blackhawk. She was a very lucky person. Our beloved mom has gone to heaven to the biggest, beautiful garden she will ever see. If she could talk to us, she would tell us to love and take care of each other. And say, my sweet Destinee, thank you for being my nurse during my final days. You're a very strong special lady.
To my kids, thank you all for everything. I love you all.
